Here is Your
"Thank You Page" Template.
Say Congrats or Thanks Here.
Your headline on this page is important, too. It should motivate your reader to do what he opted in to do. This lead paragraph should continue that thought.
There are a couple of ways you can use this page.
1-Page Technique
One is to actually provide the downloaded item that someone opted in for here. Do that simply by putting a link on this page to the thing you want them to download. But, make sure you give them good instructions.
2-Page Technique
Some people don't like to do things this way (usually me included) because often times someone will use a fake email address on your optin form. (They do that when they know that the "Ethical Bribe" is on the Thank You page. )
So, what they'll do is make this first page simply a "Thank You" page, with a Thank You message on it, followed by instructions about how the actual download information will be sent by email.
Make a second page that contains the link to the downloaded item, and instructions (similar to what's above) on how to use it. (You can use this page as your template for both pages.)
Then, in your autoresponder, give the URL for the download page.
That way, you can be sure that everyone who gets your gift has exchanged their actual email address for it.
I hope that helps you.

P.S. If you haven't yet downloaded "List Power", my special list-building package, go get it now. It will show you how to make the best use of this page.
